Lifting Hands International is looking for volunteers to help at our warehouse in Serres, a small town about one hour away from Thessaloniki.
The Serres camp currently has a population of approximately 300 residents, all of whom are Yazidi refugees. Lifting Hands International provides food, clothing and hygiene aid, as well as running an educational programme where camp residents can learn new music and language skills.
You will be part of a great team that coordinates and distributes aid for refugees of all ages. Warehouse volunteers are also welcome to attend our weekly 'parties' where you can help out with recreational activities and spend time with Yazidi families.
We ask for a minimum time commitment of two weeks and can offer housing at our volunteer apartment in the centre of Serres for 5 euros per night.
