We design and build timber structures focusing on shelter, hygiene and recreation.

The Timber Project is a non-profit organisation devoted to providing basic shelter and hygiene facilities for refugees stranded along the Balkan route.
While the situation is complex, our work is simple: we design and build timber structures that offer small pieces of solace, protection and dignity to those forced to flee their homes. Our projects are aimed at addressing the most urgent needs of refugees along the Balkan route. We also strive to improve conditions in the camps by designing and building communal spaces that have been used to create Learning Centres for children, Women Friendly Spaces and Wifi Stations, amongst many other applications.
